Screen view reverts to main menu while navigating

One of my TZ3 screens will spontaneously switch from navigation view to the main menu. It does not happen all the time, and does not seem to be linked to a moving mouse or styles. Other screens like depth chart or radar do not cause this issue. When it occurs it tends to do it over and over for five to ten minutes then stabilize. Other days it never happens. Physical movement related? Help?

I would check the multi-cable in the back to ensure none of the wiring is touching each other or something. I would also recommend checking the grounding on the unit. You want to ensure all network cables used are metal RJ45 and no plastic BS. Look for any items or cables near the unit or unit cable that might be putting off EMI.

Wiring all looks good.

Add some additional flavor to the issue. When the navigation screen is on....you can actually see the FURUNO logo in the upper left corner "select itself" to go to the home page. Again, ONLY the navigation screen does this. Radar, sounder, split screens of any type including navigation plus any other input are completely stable. At times this happens every minute, sometimes every five seconds. Other times we go all day without it acting up.

What TZT3 model is this you have? When was the last time someone fully cleaned the screen well with water and microfiber cloth?
