1843c radar with Navnet VX2. Is scanner or screen faulty. Attached is a screen shot of the display and a photo of what is ahead of me , note the breakwater. Have gone through set up to try and resolve. Have checked connections at base of mast but not at scanner, any advice welcome. Plotter is working fine so suspect it’s not a screen issue. Adjusting gain on sea and rain, And pulse strength etc makes no difference.

Have done that, is displaying objects the red splurge at the to right is the other side of the bay. I cannot turn the a/c sea down too much as it seems lose targets too.
Ranged closer in it is now picking up the shoreline behind me but the heads up view is cluttered. I probably need to find a single target at sea and adjust the display heading.

I don't see an install photo but I assume this is on a mast? If so, I am not seeing the sector blanking wedge turned on that blocks the radar from blasting into it. Has someone maybe removed the sector blanking that was in place in the settings prior. What is the history?
