Today, in the middle of an operating day, our radar display suddenly went 180 degrees off. The picture is clear, but it is 180 off. Has anyone seen this not associated with new installation??
This is normally related to someone factory clearing the display settings during the power up process. This will result in the unit using factory settings in which the 24" radome is default. If you have a radar scanner other than the 24" dome, it will cause the radar to display 180 degrees off due to the settings being improper. You will find other postings already on this subject on the forum with corrective actions to setup the correct antenna.
