PP-520 Printer

My "Printer Out" light is constantly illuminated. I have changed the roll with the correct paper but it is still lit. There no solution in the Operator's Manual...

I get an alarm on the GMDSS station every few minutes saying printer not ready unless I shut down the GMDSS station.

Any help appreciated??
