Hi, is there any way to save polylines to SD card? I need to do a full reset on my 1971f and then reload points and polylines.
Thanks

Hello,

Here you go, section 11.3 of the operators manual. I believe polylines would fall under user points and it should save. Make sure to not use a Micro SD card that exceeds 32GB.

I exported setting, tracks and points. I then reset, and imported everything back, but the polylines are nowhere to be found. Any other ideas?

So, I don’t think you may of saved them properly if you don’t see it on your list. Polylines are meant to be temporary because they are lines between two or more traps typically and often moved around. If you want to keep them forever and want them to appear on your list, you need to go into the unit and save them with the steps below and they will be converted over to more of a user point and be saved onto the list.

I have forwarded this information over to our Product Development team and to see if this feature cannot be setup to just automatically save onto the list in the future.

I believe that my polylines were saved on the list. I think that they were not saved on the SD card when I saved my points and tracks. It is not so important anyways, I will make new polylines.
The one suggestion that I have though, if there's another firmware update in the future, is the point size. I have the latest firmware installed, and still the point size is needlessly large, even on the minimum setting. The map screen is one large smudge due to the amount and size of the points, unless I really zoom in a lot. I really think there should be a point size setting of 4 by 4 pixels or something close to that. That would be a serious improvement especially where fishing is involved.
