Picture Advance Issue TZT2

Hi all

I have an issue with my TZT2 which hopefully can be remedied by a simple setting adjustment. My picture advance (or scroll speed) is very, very slow, especially in deeper water and when the boat is not moving very fast. It's set at 1/1, which I believe is the normal setting. If I change the setting to speed up the picture (i.e. 2/1, or 4/1), the image resolution degrades significantly. What setting should the transmit rate be at? Will playing around with this help?

Make sure the TX Rate is set to 20.

Also one thing to know is that the most of our sounders have a Bottom Search Mode. The BSM allows the sounder to give you the digital depth readout. However if you do not have the bottom displayed on the screen the BSM will change the sounders TX rate.
