PG500 heading sensor with NAVpilot 711

Hi this is just a quick question to ask if I can use my existing PG500 if I were to purchase a NAVpilot 711 processor and display? I am assuming my existing RFU FAP6112 will work?

If you purchase a Furuno USA Navpilot 711C; it will come with the PG700. The PG700 will work better because it is a faster compensating compass and also less picky about it's mounting location than the PG500. Ultimately your pilot will work only as good as your heading and your hydraulics. Yes you can use the PG500 but I normally recommend the PG700 for better performance.
