I have a navNet VX2 unit RDP-149 with the ARP10 board installed, and 1944C radar.
an AIRMAR 1 kw shoot thruhull transducer and thru the hull water and temperature sensor hooked up to an airmar Y cable to the ETR-6/10N network sounder on the network port.
I have the heading sensor PG-1000 wired in on AD10 to data port 3
I have the Yamaha fuel management gage one data port 2
and nothing on data port 4
the rigger really did a poor installation as I am finding out later after having to rewire most of the 12 volt connections on the boat posting.php?mode=post&f=4#
anyway the unit has never really overlayed the maps well with the heading always being off, the shoreline and the radar image were off by about 12 degrees. anyway does this wiring sound correct? why am I not seeing anything on the data port 3 from the PG1000?
what data sentences should I have on the data ports? do I need to send data to the NEMA 183 port?
thanks mike
I have updated the firmware to the latest edition
