Optimus integration?

What is the level of integration between the TZT XL and Dometic Optimus electric steering? Not the 360 joystick system, just the electric actuators, Optimus Link and CANtrak display.

The Furuno website lists Dometic as a partner for NavNet Command Center. I can't find any details though.

I'm asking because I am looking at installing the Optimus electric actuators and need to decide between the Optimus Link and CANtrak screen. By itself the Optimus Link won't display error codes, but a significantly more expensive CANtrak screen will. I want to understand if the TZT XL will pull error codes etc from the Optimus Link or if I need to buy the CANtrak screen.

I think I may have found an answer. It appears the Dometic NavNet Command Center integration is limited to the Dometic digital switching system (DCM). That's my understanding from this Furuno document:

I'll see if I can get the PGN outputs from the Optimus equipment. Thanks for help.

Your thinking is skipping the autopilot. The Navpilot integrates with Optimus/Dometic and the MFD drives the autopilot. You need an autopilot to drive a steering system. The NavNet can drive an autopilot just fine by 2000. If you are seeking a pilot for Optimus, I highly recommend the Navpilot 300 for that.

The plan is to use the Navpilot 300.

I was trying to figure out is if I need to buy the display Optimus sells, or if I can use the less functional Link. The dealer has told me the screen will display error codes for the Optimus system, but the Link will not. My question was if the errors codes were available on the MFD through the Navnet Command Center, but it looks like the Command Center interface is limited to the Dometic digital switching system.

The more I read into this, the less likely it appears the Link would be able to send data to the MFD as the Link is on a separate Canbus network, only connecting to the MFD through the Navpilot DBW connection.
