operating two fishfinders at once fcv582l and fcv1150

Hello ,

Can you please tell me if it is ok and possible to operate both units at the same time side by side with the 582L at 200 and the 1150 frequency altered to 204khz.

I have been fishing successfully with the 582 for 7 years and I would like to compare the echo's to help me recognise the fish species and size on the 1150.

Yes you can run both sounders side by side if you turn on the interference rejection on both sounders. The IR control looks for patterns and is very good at suppressing another sounders TX pulse, but it will reduce the sounders over all sensitivity just a little.
