I would like connect my RDP149 to my Icom VHF for the DSC. I need about a 3 foot cable. I have looked up the cables in the manual but it shows some 6 pin and some 7 pin. I dont know which one I need. Could you please tell me which one I need or better yet a part number if you have it available. Also is there wiring diagram to connect to the radio. I have the radio end diagram. Is it just plug and play or is there some procedure to follow to get the Gps to recognize the radio.
Thanks
Jack

Normally, Data port 2 (6 pin) connection would be used.
Typically the 6 pin data cable (000-154-054) is used to wire GPS data into the radio.
You would use the two output wires; WHITE (+) out and BLACK (-) out to the radio.
The white (+) out would go to the radio (+) input.
The black (-) out would go to the raido (-) input.

What would be the colors on that cable for the 2 input wires out from the radio into the gps?
