Is there any benefit in connecting a tzt2 via N2K with other brand MFDs (current generation garmin in my case)? Can you share waypoints or anything?

You can't share waypoints but you can share data like GPS and other PGNs. Both units could receive AIS for example if all three units (2 ea MFDs and AIS) are sharing the same NMEA 2000 bus.
