NMEA 2000 Honda

Has anyone had problems hooking up Nmea 2000 to Honda through there TZT312F.
I am trying to change the Device instance as I have dual Honda bf60a outboards and they keep reverting back to 0.

Individually they work fine, they just won’t work together.

Do the outboards need to be programmed by Honda?

Or am I missing a setting in the TZT312F ?

I have tried auto calibration as well with no luck.

Sounds like a question for Honda but you might try changing the instance and then turning off all power to the engine and turn back on. Many NMEA 2000 items require that you turn off (aka power cycle) a device to get the instance number to stay changed. If that doesn't work, I would contact Honda and ask how to have the engines stay fixed at proper instances. Please follow up because it would be interesting to know the answer.
