hello, can you pls share instructions on how to get rid of this new “Fuel Capacity Alarm For Active Route” alarm? It now comes up when using the navpilot. Thx!

Is your Fuel tank level sender working? Is it sending accurate tank level? The alarm is saying not enough fuel to make it to the active waypoint, which in your case is only 127 yds away, which makes me suspect the fuel level sender.

Not sure about fuel sender. Have 270gal tank & get 2mpg, so don’t worry about fuel. Is there no way to disable this?

It will often give that alarm if you are not directly on course to the destination. I have it disabled completely on my units. Just go to the Alarm menu and set "Low Fuel Alarm" to off.

The Low fuel alarm gives alarm: LOW FUEL ALARM.

The FUEL CAPACITY ALARM FOR ACTIVE ROUTE is different. It is related to the fuel tank level senders. Please check that the fuel tank sensor(s) are properly set up and are displaying the ACCURATE tank levels.

you are right - low fuel didn’t work.

so there is no way to disable this notification?

can you please point me in the right direction to check the fuel tank sensors? hopefully this is a one time fix.

DaVapors,
Thank you for the inquiry. To deactivate this active route/fuel alarm completely try this; Home/Furuno-----Settings---Initial Setup---Instruments Setup: Engine & Tank Manual Setup-----Used for Propulsion-----Fuel---- Set these to OFF.

It's good we have the Furuno staff here -- that's what I was trying to describe but didn't state it clearly! Glad you could fix the problem. It is quite annoying and I was glad when I figured out how to disable it.
