New boat, seeking advice on chart plotter model and C-Map updates.

Merry Christmas, everyone. We have a new-to-us boat in Long Island, Bahamas and I am new to the Furuno universe of things. I want to update the old C-Map charts on the Furuno unit (if possible). How do I find out what model I have? There seems to be many different "NAVnet vx2" models of chart plotter made...

Or maybe this thing is just too old and I am out of luck.

Have a great day and I appreciate any assistance in getting this unit as up-to-date as possible.

For this purpose the only distinction was between the C-Map and Navionics versions of the VX2. Your best bet will be to check with C-Map directly or a good chart dealer such as Landfall Navigation.
