Hello. This combo GPS/sounder/radar has been sitting indoors for 5 years. Date shows 1995 when connected to power, GPS test shows "NG" with no data available on navigation screens. Can antenna have failed?

There might not be anything wrong with the GPS. It sounds like the NavNet 1 display unit (from roughly 2002) has a bad internal battery resulting in the loss of all settings. You might call tech support while near the unit to that they can check your GPS setup is correct.
