Radar and plotter help request

Hi

Thanks in advance for any help!

I have a 1997 Riviera 39 in Tasmania, Australia.

After a power issue (low voltage, repeated rebooting....), I am slowly getting the settings sorted out.

I have a GD1900 with a RDP139, ETR-6/10N network sounder and Fax-30. All look be to early 2000s models. Possibly the 1943C radar fitted.

Issues:

Time correct, but date is 2002
depth/temp back on plotter look good, but not showing on radar. When testing the sounder the depth and temp are not correct...
Radar picture not right, very messy as per pic if it uploads...

The date issue is because whatever GPS is being used by the old NavNet series one has most likely had the GPS rollover occur. The older GP310, GP320B, and GP32 for example have all experienced GPS rollover and there is no fix for that unless you replace the gps for a newer model. (GP330B/0183 for example) GPS will still work on rolled over units but the date won't be correct.
 
Hi Johnny - thanks heaps! Good to know.

A local Furuno supplier came to the boat yesterday and tweaked a few things for me and is happy with the radar picture and other settings so I am all good now.
