Hello! - I have a system with TZTBBX (3 units) and TZT16X (2). I have been able to do network sensor updates on all of my Furuno devices successfully, except my FI70 (5 units). When the updater scans and see they need to be updated from version 1.10 to the latest version and when I “start” the update, the result is a 15 second delay and then the BBX or MFD just reboots with no update. I have them numbered correctly; all on NMEA2K system instance 0 and device instances are sequential 50, 51, 52, 53, 54. I have tested my N2K network and it’s in good shape, then went as far as building an isolated network of just the BBX and one FI70 - and same reboot result. Also, the FI70 has two updates; app and boot. Boot updated on all devices just fine.
The USB drive is correct using fully reformatted thumb drives of a couple sizes. Extracting the files then moving them to the USB drive. Again, other Furuno network devices updated fine.
Has anyone had trouble updating their FI70’s using newer TZT MFD’s? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. My FI70’s are from 2016 and I’m not sure if older FI70 hardware is a limitation. I do need the newer functions on these FI70’s that come with the latest update. Thank you!
