NavPilot 711C

Can the NavPilot 711C control speed, I have a 1989 34ft Tollycraft with 7.4L gas motors, drive by wire shifters and carbs. If the Autopilot does not control speed, what does it do when gets to the waypoint, does it turn or does just go strait?

Autopilots don't control boat speed, that is done via your boat throttles. The pilot is just providing steering.
