NAVNET VX2 RADAR /OVERLAY/HEADING SETTING

Good morning the team

Sorry for my bad level in english, but I'am french and try explain you my problem.

My boat is equipped with 1 Furuno Navnet VX2 system including 1 master 10" display (RDP 149) and two other 7" display (RDP 148), networked + an autopilot furuno nvapilot 511.

Recently, I had to replace the 10" display : the screen which had become all red and unreadable
I was able to find one in very good condition second-hand.
Once the new device was installed, the GPS tracker and the sounder worked normally.

Unfortunately , I have some followings problem with the radar:

1/ on the master display 10" (cabin) and the 2nd display on the fly bridge I can't access the overlay function, and the radar do no indicate the heading. I also can't change the navigation mode (head up, north up, course up) ( pic1)
2/ on the 3rd display located on the cockpit, I can access all the functions of the radar, including the overlay, and it indicates me the heading (pics 2/3)
3/The radar image is not the same on the master screen, on the Fly Bridge screen and on the cockpit screen (pic 3)

Probably a problem of setting or configuration that I didn't know how to do correctly.

I followed the advices of this forum, and I reset my devices and the radar configuration.

Maybe a bad interface with my autopilot?

To conduct radar overlay, you MUST have heading data wired to the display which has the radar connected.
Besides the install manual (not ops manual), you might try following the radar setup information I posted here..

Proper setup of the radar type and heading is important.

Many thanks for your reply.

I follow the steps you indicate me and try to set the radar with the installation menu but whithout result.
No heading data.
My AIS system is no longer working, and my VHF is no longer receiving position data for the DSC system
May be the fluxgate compass (PG500) but I check it and the lights are solid.
Before I moved the old display all fonctions works normally.
I check the software on the 3 screens and they are not the same (pics attached). Maybe that's the cause of the problem, what do you think?
I Hope you can help me to find the solution.

Heading data is required for radar overlay and AIS to function. What is your heading source and how is it connected?

I think my heading source come from the screen located in the fly.
This device send data to my AP (cog position speed etc...)

I finally found the source of the problem.
When installing the new device, I made a wrong connection on the bad port.
Everything works normally.
