NavNet VX2 1944CBB/NT C-map compatability

I have a NavNet VX2 1944C/NT Black Box and need a C-map chart for it. I can get hold of a C-map chart card that is currently in a Furuno 1650WF. Can the 1650WF C-map card be used in the VX2 1944.

While the C-MAP "NT" cartography was the same in the GP1650WFs as it was in the 1944C/NTs, the cards were proprietary and would not fit in the 1944C/NTs, because those 1944C/NT plotters took a SD card. There also is no practical way for end users to transfer charts from a proprietary chart card to a SD Card.

Unfortunately what you are asking will not work, however it's impractical anyway because C-MAP still supports the Furuno 1944C/NT plotters and makes charts for them that you can purchase and put onto a microSD card that comes with an adapter sleeve. See: https://www.c-map.com/search-charts
