multiple transducers

I have a B45 and a B260 transducer mounted and plugged into 2 TZT2 units. Can I run them at the same time without interference?
Thanks

buckshot,

If both sounders are using the same frequencies, this can cause both the units to put out false readings, or what is known as crosstalk.

Many of today's sounders use more than one transducer frequency, and setting each unit on a different frequency can prevent crosstalk interference. So you can try switching one unit to 50 kHz and the other to 200 kHz, or just use one sounder at a time to avoid this type of interference.

Hope this helps..? ;)

Another thing to keep in mind is you use advanced features like Accufish or Bottom Discrimination is that they requires both freqs, the sounder will transmit both needed freqs although you are displaying only a single freq. If you wish the sounder to only put out one freq, you must turn off the advanced features and display only the freq you wish to transmit.
