MFD12 and selecting GPS source?

Is there a way to tell a network of four MFD12s which GPS source to use if there's more than one available?

I've got a GP-320B up the mast, connected into DATA1 on one of the MFD12s. Which is, in turn, connected to the other three MFD12s via Ethernet.

There's also an FA-50 on Ethernet.

I'll soon be adding an Airmar 220WX on NMEA2k, connected to one of the MFD12s (but not the one that currently has the GP-320B attached). The 220WX has the ability to squawk GPS on the NMEA2k bus.

In running through the "Initial Setup" on two of the MFDs and I didn't see anywhere to select a GPS source. Am I missing something? Or, like the FA-50, does the setup for an MFD give you different options only when it sees a particular sensor type already present?

Or am I going to have to use a GP-320B (or equivalent) into one of the MFD12's?

Yes, this is exactly what GLOBAL - DATA SOURCES - is for in your installation setup wizard.

Yes the items have to be connected and working for the system to see them to show as a selection in source in GLOBAL - DATA SOURCES.

You can have all those sources. I never recommend using the AIS as your primary position source because it doesn't offer WAAS fixing. Always pick your best source as primary in your setup wizard.
