Anyone has already connected any Furuno FCV58x to a Garmin Gps Map 9xx or 7xx? I want to use Mark Furuno button to send the waypoint to a Garmin. I’ve already tried with 0183 nmea connections but Garmin doesn’t interpret TLL protocol from sentences sent by Furuno. Someone knows if is it possible send data/waypoint from Furuno to Garmin?
If you can share experience with me, any way to connect (nmea0183 / nmea2000) I’ll appreciate.
Thanks!!!!

It isn't that the Garmin won't accept the TLL from the Furuno; they don't accept it from anyone. The FCV588 offers both certified and Furuno TLL as options. Most Garmin units won't accept even the standard TLL NMEA sentence. Some of the newer Garmin units have started accepting it, but most still don't. You can't send over Target Lat/Lon if the plotter doesn't accept it. That would be something to speak to them about. Maybe they have a software update that can add it for you.
