lost 330B input data through backbone

While off shore I lost my vessel cursor and "go to". Back at dock started to export what caused the problem. My GP-33 is still functional and showing correct location. The GP-33 is properly connected to backbone. In the settings, the GP330B WAAS mode and the WS200 WAAS mode are greyed out. I checked the backbone yellow power supply is has power and I did find a grey wire disconnected which I think is a drain wire and should have been grounded. Not certain where to go from here to remedy the situation. The system has worked fine for the last year while operating this charter boat that is not mine and the owner has no idea about nmea systems etc.

Start by checking the what the POSITION source is setup for in the Data Source List. (Home - Menu - Installation Setup - Data Source). You have two columns to look at "Current" and "Preferred" . What does your's show? Is Position lat/lon showing up in the middle? If you open the preferred sources do you see all the NMEA 2000 devices that gives GPS like your GP330B, WS200, and GP33? If you are in a hurry, cases like this are better done direct with tech support on the phone. Troubleshooting goes much faster on the phone than the users forum.
