MDF8/12 and DRS2D

Guys, I'm new to Furuno and I am trying to piece together an electronics system on a budget from used equipment. Right now I have a used MDF8, MDF12, and DFF1 along with a new 525T-LTD20 (B60) transducer and GP-330B antenna. The boat came with a old green screen CRT radar (1720?) that I would like to upgrade. I found a used DRS2D radar for cheap. When I looked at the installation manual online, it said that a power supply is not required with the MDF8/12. How does the radar get its power when the (2) displays are networked? I see that the factory cable has a small black plug, where does that go?

There is a three pin power connector labeled "DRS" on the back of the MFD8 and MFD12. Either could power the dome using that connector. I would wire it to the unit that is closest to the radar cable. The network part of the radar cable would go to the HUB101 with the MFD8, MFD12, and DFF1.
