Loss of GPS Inputs

Hello all, we are experiencing a loss of GPS inputs to the Furuno display unit. We checked the cable going from the GPS receiver unit to the Furuno Display. Everything is connected and no connectors were lose. The receiver itself shows good data for speed and location. It also shows we are connected to a good number of satellites. On the display itself, we get an error message "EPFS." We have touched nearly every button it allows us to change on the display for NAV Input data with no change. Has anyone run into this issue, or have any advise for us?

It would certainly be helpful to know which model radar you are trying to bring the GPS into.
