Integrating AP22 autopilot w/ TZT14

I am upgrading older Furuno equipment, but hoping to keep my Simrad AP22 autopilot and Simrad RFC35R rate compass, and depth sounder.

I plan to add a 1945 radar, TZT14, BBWX4, GP330B, F170, FI5001, FA-50, plus an Icom 506 VHF.

Will the existing nineteen year old AP22 and rate compass [with an IF-NMEA2K2] have full functionality with the TZT14? Thank you.

You should not have any issues between the TZT14, IF-NMEA2K converter, and your AP22. You’ll have to make sure to turn on the proper PGN’s outputs on the TZT14, to send the NAV data over to the AP22 but you can call into our support line for those PGN’s when ready.
