Hello FF members,

Please help me make the right equipment decisions to match up with a recent dated but never used (new - still in the box) radar kit I bought -
FURUNO NAVNET 3D DRS4D - TZTouch3 MFD TZTL12F.

I will be using the boat to run long distances day or night, shallows, deep-water, fishing, diving,

Here is some of the USED gear I am currently looking at, more importantly I have no idea about compatibility of these pieces of used equipment (I have spend many hours trying to find the compatibility info)- if these selections are not compatible please let me know - otherwise your suggestions for the compatible equipment would be very much appreciated.
  • Globe Wireless I250 Inmarsat
  • Furuno NX-7H Navtex Antenna
  • TracPhone Marine VSAT System
  • FLIR camera FLIR M232 E70353 Pan/Tilt 9Hz
  • Transducer - Furuno 225T-TM904 Transom Mount Side-Scan Transducer
Thanks to everyone that takes the time to reply

TZTL12F is a TZT2 series not a TZT3.
The older DRS radar can be used with the TZT2 display but you must power it properly and update the software. The DRS4D uses 48v. It would normally be powered by a PSU017. TheNX-7H antenna won't do you any good with owning an NX700 NavTex. The Inmarsat and TracPhone wouldn't have any direct relationship to your NavNet. I really can't speak to those products. The FLIR camera could be setup and added to the NavNet network. The side-scan transducer can NOT be used as the TZT2 doesn't support any type of side-scan other than the DFF3D multi-beam side-scan view and it doesn't use that transducer. I am sure you will everything sorted out. Good luck on building your new system.

Thank you Johnny, yes the bundle i purchased was someone bought it and never installed it, and it has the correct power supplies, cables etc... all in original unopened packages. I did read about updating the software, I knew I would need to do that after installation when its time to power up, thank you for that....

your info cleaned up my thought direction quite a bit, thank you, now I can focus on the side-scan transducer - being a novice on a budget is not easy, thanks for the help
