Hello. We are on a Pacific crossing and our NavPilot decided to stop steering this evening. The display shows the correct heading, gps coordinates, and rudder angles. It thinks it is steering the boat but is not. I even went down to change to our backup ram. Any advice on troubleshooting? Thanks in advance. SY Altair

Sounds like your pump might have died. remove the pump wires from the pilot and try directly connecting to power and see if it runs or not.

But the other ram didn’t work either. One is a linear drive. The other hydraulic. I checked the voltage on the 12v and it is getting power from the unit.

Sounds like you will need to get someone on the boat. If you have voltage directly to the pump it should move.
