GPS antenna

Will having 2 GPS antenna's hooked into a N2K backbone mess things up? I have an MFD8, Airmar heading sensor and a Garmin GPS antenna now but would like to add a GP33 which will be plumed into the backbone. If I hook the Furuno GPS antenna to the GP 33 will I mess things up by adding another GPS antenna.

Adding another GPS (like the GP33) will not adversely affect your NMEA 2000 network as long as you have suitable power on the back bone to support the added load. The extra GPS data will provide another redundant source which you can choose from, or the system can switch to, when needed.
