When upgrading to Ver 4 on my GP1971F, can I have an existing C-MAP 4D MSD card in one of the slots, and a new MSD containing the Ver4 unzipped directories in the spare slot while performing the upgrade? Or, should I remove the C-MAP-4D MSD card and only keep the Ver 4 MSD card in one slot for the upgrade. Thanks as always.

The video that I watched on the upgrade process for these displays stated that you could leave it in.
Because it is so easy to remove; I would recommend on being on the side of caution and remove the map card during the update process.
