GP1971F powering up the network

Can the GP1971F be used to power up my NMEA 2000 network.

No, the GP1971 has no power out feature. Some Furuno models like the NN3D and Navpilot 711c offer support for through powering a few NMEA 2000 items but ultimately it is better to allow the bus to have it's own power. In the case of the GP1971, the bus must be powered separately.
