gp1650 to an other gp 1650

I have two furuno gp 1650 with 6-pin cables. I want to communicate with them. I connected the yellow wire with white and green with black. When I connect it does not seem to have reply. Where is the error? thank you very much.

Are you trying to copy the waypoints/routes to the other unit?
What exactly are you trying to do?

I only have one gp1650 connected to the gps antenna, I try this unit pass data position, course and speed to the other.

The GP1650 can only get GPS from it's own antenna, not from other units.

What we are saying is it will not accept an external position sentence. Below is the in/out from the manual which can be found on line.
