Well if you have a B175L working through the 10p/12p cable, then it must be working through CH0, as the schematic for that cable shows no connections to the CH1 pins.
If the pinout of the LF MM cable is the same as the other MM cable, then what is the difference between them? You may have already stated it, but did you try the LF transducer through the normal MM cable?
I would also like to understand whether or not these units are doing anything with the internal transducer temperature via TDID connection, hopefully that question doesn't get lost in the shuffle.
