GP-1971F Touch sensitivity.

Hi,

The touch screen responds slowly, erratically, or does not respond at all. Please have a look at the video:

Bought this in 2019 but never installed. Unit is now on the latest firmware.
In the video the unit is in simulation mode, no map card installed.

I have tried the following:
1. Factory default and cleared memory after firmware instalation.
2. Hard reset via button on left side.

Anything else I should try?
Is it possible to do a firmware re-install?

What is your power source? Do you have the unit grounded?
We have found power supplies with improper/incomplete grounding can cause touch problems just like this. We see it often at boat shows or on test benches.

All solved now. Thank you! Had the unit connected on a test bench to a lab power power supply with cable shield to ground.
No touch screen issues after connecting the unit to a battery.
