Garmin GPS connection with furuno FCV-800

Hello friends I wanted to know if it is possible to connect a furuno FCV-800 with a garmin echomap 53cv GPS.If it were true, what would it be? I own both equipment and would like to give position in my furuno FCV-800

It is possible. If your echomap has an NMEA 2000 connection, it is very easy. The FCV800 has NMEA 0183 input as well if you need to go that route.

There isn't a diagram for your specific connections. The FCV800 Interconnection Diagram is in the back of the Installation Manual here: https://www.furunousa.com/-/media/s...manuals/installation_manual_fcv600_fcv800.pdf You will have to get with Garmin about their transmit + and transmit - (or NMEA ground) colors, but they would go to the FCV800's yellow (receive +) and green (receive -) wires respectively.
