Am I able to run a 587 with this setup and share the transducers between the VX2 and 587 sounders??
I was thinking of adding a 587 to the VX2 in the tower.

You will need to add a transducer switch. This will allow you to switch the transducer between either the VX2 or FCV-587.

With the transducer switch box, will I be able to run both transducers (200 & 50khz) into the 587?
Alternatively, will an MFD12 Navnet 3D be able to be linked to a VX2 and sgare transducers and GPS?

With a switch you will be able to use both frequencies. We do not recommend VX2 and 3D in the same network. You could connect the VX2 to 3D using a NMEA 0183 connection to export GPS information however.
