FR 2115, with 24 rpm scanner, PTU 03P9245D,
Problem when power on from push button, the green power light up for about 4 second and hearing fun running sound then stop. As suggest by friend pull off orange cable (hi power) at scanner unit then power switch on again, found fun radar inside keep running but no display at all at Radar CRT. Our friend suspected the scanner unit inside transceiver unit faulty. Seek anyone advise for this issue. thank you in advance for your time

Hello,

I would check the status of the LED's on the PTU. It sounds like the unit is going into over current mode. I would also disconnect the antenna cable completely. If the unit does not power up with the antenna disconnected, then it could be a problem with the CRT.
