Hello All,
My name is Jerry and I work with an old Furuno 1930 radar aboard a large sailing yacht. However, the Furuno is not connected to a gyro compass (there is no gyro on board). Consequently, ARPA doesn't work and the display is always head-up. I would like to use the full potential of my radar.
Does anybody know if and how I could connect one of the boat's GPS devices to the radar so I can see the true bearing/true vector/North-up etc.?
Any ideas welcome!
Thanks in advance!
Jerry
