furuno 1720

Hello all, I just bought a boat that has a furuno radar, the manual is all jacked up, but I'm sure it says model 1720, I think it's a 1989 model, where can I get a manual, is this a good unit, can I interface with a lowrance hds-7 thru the nmea 0813 or 2000 to make it show to the hds-7, thanks

The manual for the 1720 is available on line. You can find it by putting 1720 into the search area located in the upper right portion of our website, http://www.furunousa.com .

The only interface that is applicable for your hds-7 would strictly be with NMEA0183 which would be data only. There is no ability to transfer the radar to the Lowrance display.
