Hello,

Question i have fr-8062 radar, when i connect a gp-320b the gps function is not highlight.
When i take alook in the test display i can see there is input, i can see the position.
The cable is in nmea 1 or 2 , but both no signal.
The cable is soldered to furnuno cable mj-a7spf0003-050f, is this the right cable?

Anyone a idea to make it work?

The GP320B comes with the proper 7 pin connection and would directly plug on to the back of the unit. For the GP320B to be seen by the radar and setup for WAAA mode, it MUST be connected up by all wires for bidirectional communications. By the sound of it you have done some custom wiring and I suspect you do not have bidirectional.

the GP320b was without a connection pin so I made the wires to the furuno adapter.
I just put the color to the color, the should work in my opinion. I checked the colors several times.

If all wires including the shield are connected, I agree it should see it as a GP320B. Maybe it is a really old version that some reason isn't recognized. You might talk with the dealer you got it from.
