Fish symbol cluttering track line GP1971F

Hi all,

Last year I upgraded to firmware version 3 on my GP1971F. After this upgrade, fish symbols appear on the plotters track line whenever I pass over fish. I find this feature cluttering up my screen and want to turn it off. However I've been unable to find a way to disable these automatic fish symbols.

Anyone share how to disable these? I just want to see a clean track line.

Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and turn OFF, Accu-Fish Icons.

Thanks Johnny. Will Accu-Fish continue to work on the FF screen if I do as you suggested?

Pretty sure it will, but please try it and let us know. Turning that on/off is simple and not going to hurt anything to try it.

I can confirm by turning off the Accu-fish icons on the plotter side, will not turn off the Accu-Fish feature on the fish finder.

Took the boat out this weekend. I can confirm turning off Accu-Fish stops those fish marks on the track line. Loving my 1971 again. Thanks all.
