Fish finder in standby

My fish finder function is not loading an image. The just says "Stand By" and the loading bar shows that something is trying to load, but when the bar reaches the end nothing happens and the bar starts at the beginning again. Any suggestions on what might be going on?

The NavNet 3D system allows you to stop your sounder transmission. (put it in STBY)
You can turn it back on under the fishfinder menu or your can just "left click" on the sounder icon at the top right of the screen.
