FI5001 sensor

I presume (from manual) this sensor plugs into the FI501 instrument & not the N2000 backbone via a drop? So I guess it cannot plug into the RD33 either?
Processing to PGN's is done in the FI501.

Correct. It is an analog sensor that needs the FI501 or FI502 to connect to/process it's information to put on the bus. It will not interface directly to the RD33 (except via a drop to the NMEA2000/CANbus backbone) until after being processed by either the FI501 or FI502.
