Shut off machine next day wouldn't turn on, started to take out of dash and realized there was an exterior fuse I replaced and it turned on but wouldn't read bottom.

Was on phone with furuno few hours and reset changed settings and still no bottom just an orange line along the top.

Transducer is airmar 526thd-hdn-b260-1kw

Mimivimate,
Thank you for your inquiry.
Fuses are there as an added protection against all sorts of power related issues. Hopefully the fuse did what is was supposed to do and protected the FCV295 from whatever issue caused it to blow. In any event, without seeing any pictures or video I'd guess that the line you are seeing at the top of the screen is simply the timing indicator. Its not really an indicator that the unit is transmitting.
Are you seeing any main bang/clutter near the top of the screen? turn the gain to the maximum, does the screen fill with red/orange scatter? can you hear the soft "ticking" sound of the transducer transmitting?
change the frequency (high or low). same result?
This time of year here along the US east coast afternoon thunder storms are a common occurrence. A direct or even a near lighting strike can cause havoc. Any other pieces of equipment (electronic or otherwise) aboard the vessel suddenly and unexplainably begin to malfunction?
