Is there any way to lock the target echo settings in the TXRX menu so I can select the setting for the fishing environment I transition through?
My fishing runs usually involve about 10 mi of running in waters under 200 ft in the tgt echo normal TXRX menu selection. Then another 10 to 40 mi or so after the drop off to 3000 feet which I usually run in the surface selection targeting the top 300 feet of the water column targeting surface fishes. Upon reaching the Islands I run in the squid selection looking for squid for bait in under 150 ft. I select normal for running around looking for the spots to set up on.
I am constantly resetting my sounder settings in the sounder and TXRX menus.
how would you setup your 295 with a r99 xducer for this run?
Or am I doing something wrong?
