FCV 1900 side looking

Hello,

Does anyone know? Has anyone tried this?

The informations in the manual about side looking are very brief. As I understood side looking can be achieved by connecting an external Furuno black box fishfinder? Which transducers to use, which tilt to use for side looking applications...is there any information on this?

The 1900 can be programmed for side looking using regular transducers. All the transducers are listed in the installation manual. As far how to mount them is left up the vessel and their application i.e. direction, tilt angle, etc..
