FA 50 update

Hi Jonny,
I was able to download the update 2.02 for the FA 50, but when I went to install the driver for the MOXA Uport 1450 was missing. Is there a fix for this so I can connect to the Navnet ethernet?

I can help, according to the instructions no drivers should be necessary. Only a PC, a network hub, and the FA50 with two network cables should be needed.

1. Set your PC to the Furuno IP 172.31.1.1
2. Run the .bat Windows Batch File
3. Power up the FA50 and let the program update the box.

Can confirm.

I was able to update my FA-50 software using the described procedure. And now my AIS information is transmitting again. :jump

My AIS has all of a sudden stopped transmitting and I’d like to try the update mentioned.
What are the two required cables ……and where do they go?
Can the update be done while underway?
I’ve gotten into the transponder and gps test pages and all is marked as good there.
