Evinrude data on TZT9F

I have a TZT9F and a 2007 Evinrude 250 that are both connected to my nmea 2000 network. My engine broadcasts mostly standard PGNs. I have two lowrance LMF-400 gauges that are picking up the engine data on the network. If I look in the device list in my TZT9F, I see my tank and LC200, which I assume is the engine. The engine gauges are showing no data, but the tank gauges are showing. In an etec forum, someone mentioned that the device needs to be "enabled", https://www.etecownersgroup.com/pos...uruno-9719045?highlight=furuno&pid=1303972663. I don't see anywhere in the device menus to enable the data. Is there an extra step I am missing?
 
Do the two engines have unique instance numbers. The port engine should be instance 0 and the starboard engine should be instance 1. This is done by the engine manufacturer. If that is correct and the PGN information is available, running the Automatic Engine & Tank Setup is all that needs to be run (Home-Settings-Initial Setup-Instrument Setup). If the auto setup doesn't work, then there is either data missing or more likely the engine instancing hasn't been done.

I only have a single engine. I ran through the auto setup, and it didn't pick up the engine data. I read through the manual, and it said there was a manual option if the auto setup fails. It is just vague on what to do.

I looked at an old engine report, and the position is set to 0.

From what I'm seeing on the Internet the Evinrude 250 would identify itself as "Evinrude 250" on the NMEA2000 network. So, it appears that the engine is not being seen in the automatic setup. Having said that...Automatic Engine & Tank Setup must be run first and then the Manual Engine & Tank Setup would display everything that the auto setup found. The engine must be seen before it'll work to provide engine information. The manual setup will just allow you to nickname devices and view the devices it sees.

Not sure what the LC200 is, but if you have a Lumens LC200 CaptureVision System for AV media processing/H264 streaming...that's what that could be. Regardless, you should see your engine in the manual setup as "Evinrude 250" as best I can tell.
 
I was off, it was LGC-2000, and that's my Lowrance GPS. So, I'm able to see everything on my network except the engine.

I will next time I’m on the boat. The other thing I forgot about was there is another device that isn’t showing up. My stern nmea2000 branch has the tank level, engine, and a airmar p39 temp and depth. The latter isn’t showing up either on the tzt9f but shows on my other gauges.

If it's not showing NMEA2000 data for specific portion of your backbone, then there may be a problem with the backbone. Could be noise, voltage drop due to distance to TZT9F or something else. Would have to have someone look at it with an blue meter and/or a computer program such as N2K Analyzer.
 
Yeah, I might try moving some stuff around. This is my network below. I might try using a different adapter and connect the TZT9F directly into one of the blue Ts that my gauges are on.
